Our mission is to help needy individuals and families in our community by providing nourishing food in a welcoming environment and by educating local businesses, organizations, and the general public about the often-unseen problem of food insecurity in Portsmouth and surrounding area.
Aquidneck Food Pantry is an independent, all-volunteer organization founded in 2021, in the main floor of St. John’s Lodge in Portsmouth, RI.
In 2024, we changed our name from St. John’s Lodge Food Bank, Inc. to provide additional visibility to the entire Aquidneck Island and surrounding communities.
